It didn’t take long for us to decide on our top 3 trade show picks for the automotive aftermarket industry. Just to be sure - we checked - these 3 were also included in TSNN’s Top 250 List for 2012.

SEMA Trade Show

The trade show organized by the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) will take place November 5 - 8, 2013 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Last year there were 2250 trade show exhibitors and 135,000 attendees. The one thing to remember about this trade show is that it is not open to the public but more than 100,000 industry leaders from over 100 countries will attend.

The trade association is made up of manufacturers, distributors, auto restorers, retailers, publishing companies, restylers, car clubs, race teams and more. The best of the industry will attend and bring thousands of products to the SEMA show.

The highlights of the trade show will be the educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and workshops.

Performance Racing Industry Trade Show

This show is the world’s largest auto racing trade show event and takes place December 12 - 14, 2013 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. This is a smaller trade show than the other two with only 970 exhibitors and 37,500 attendees and is free to attend. However, this show is only open to members of the racing trade - race teams, racing entrepreneurs, motor sports professionals, etc.

What’s so great about this show? There will be more new racing products than anywhere else and Richard Petty will make an appearance at the Grand Opening Breakfast.
